FOR TODAY – January 5, 2009…
Outside my window…I still have the shades closed but I can see the sun is starting to rise.

I am thinking…that I might still be hungry after my breakfast.
I am thankful for…a clean and tidy house.
From the kitchen…I will be cooking stew in the crockpot for dinner.
I am wearing…my pjs and my purple fuzzy robe I got for Christmas.

I am creating…a hemp necklace for DH – still!
I am going…to yoga at the Y this morning.
I am reading…I Dreamed of Africa.

I am hoping…DH enjoys his spin class at the Y this morning.

I am hearing…the neighbor’s vehicle running outside.
Around the house…it’s quiet.
One of my favorite things…that I just discovered are tangeloes!

A few plans for the rest of the week: spin class and Tolle group on Wednesday, having my parents over for dinner on Friday, and a cheer clinic with my squad on Saturday.

For Today…  December 1, 2008

Outside my window… about an inch of snow on the ground, flurries flying, cloudy, and neighbors are shoveling

I am thinking…I should make some lunch

I am thankful for… such a healthy pregnancy I have had.  30 weeks tomorrow!

From the kitchen… leftover taco soup.

I am wearing… maternity jeans, t-shirt with vest

I am reading… Birthing from Within

I am hoping… my new niece arrives soon.

I am creating… a peaceful home.

I am hearing… the shovels scraping the driveways.

Around the house… the house is tidy, bed needs to be made, and it’s quiet

One of my favorite things… going to yoga in the mornings.

A few plans for the rest of the week… basketball game tonight, practice and a 4H meeting tomorrow, Tolle group Wednesday, basketball game Thursday, and regular practice on Friday.

FOR TODAY June 30th, 2008

Outside My Window… A sunny, blue-sky day with a slight breeze going through the maples.

I am thinking… dinner smells good in the oven right now (beef and pork pasty.

I am thankful for… my DH who has been so helpful during my pregnancy.

From the kitchen… pasties are in the oven.  The fridge and pantry are pretty bare beyond that – I’m doing my monthly grocery shopping trip tomorrow.

I am wearing… jeans, Tar Heels t-shirt, and my hair is pulled back into a ponytail.

I am creating… a monthly grocery shopping list.

I am going… no where this evening.  We are watching a movie at home.

I am reading… Countdown my Pregnancy, My Pregnancy Week by Week, and many magazines.

I am hoping… to have a relaxing evening at home.

I am hearing… techno music from DH’s computer.

Around the house… it’s pretty calm.  DH is playing WoW, the puppies are alseep in the chair, and I have enough energy to update.

One of my favorite things…  these days?  Sleep!
